Ad attribution

Which ad really earns, which tool to believe, and where the next rupee should go, worked out from the UTMs on every order.

Every order, traced to the ad that earned it

What's inside.

Switch whose numbers you are looking at and see the same orders reported four different ways. Then move budget and see what it is worth, after diminishing returns.

  • 01

GA4, Meta, Mixpanel and Firebase set against orders recorded at checkout

  • 02

Campaign table with ROAS, cost per order and a scale, hold or cut verdict

  • 03

Budget steppers that apply diminishing returns, so spend is never free money

  • 04

One-click reallocation worked out from recorded orders, never a tool's claim

  • 05

Latest orders with their UTMs and which tools credited each one

  • 06

Event delivery health and a campaign guard, with fixes behind a permission

Integrations

  • GA4
  • Meta Ads
  • Mixpanel
  • Firebase
  • Google Ads
  • WhatsApp

Built for

Stores that spend across several ad channels and need one number they can trust

Problem

GA4, Meta, Mixpanel and Firebase each report their own version of the same orders, so it is hard to tell which ad is really earning and where extra spend would pay off.

What I built

Attribution on top of the UTMs captured at checkout: GA4, Meta, Mixpanel and Firebase set beside the orders we recorded, each campaign scored against a target ROAS, and a budget planner that models diminishing returns. It also lives inside the e-commerce admin as a module behind its own permission.

Highlights

  • UTMs captured on every order and resolved to a channel (Google Ads, Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, referral, organic)
  • Revenue by channel, split by the checkout that produced it
  • Meta Conversions API delivery health, with dead-letter events you can requeue
  • Campaign guard that flags campaigns pointing at products that no longer exist
  • GA4, Meta, Mixpanel and Firebase compared against recorded orders
  • Scale, hold or cut per campaign against a target ROAS

Stack

  • React
  • TypeScript
  • RTK Query
  • Meta CAPI
